Business Unit Director

GRG Executive Search is exclusively partnering with a leading International Third Party Logistics provider to find a highly skilled Business Unit Director to oversee their Fashion & Beauty Retail Vertical Nationally.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement a National Vertical Market Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive strategy to drive growth and performance across the Fashion & Beauty Retail Vertical.
- Lead a Culture of Operational Excellence: Foster a culture that delivers exceptional customer-centric solutions, exceeding customer expectations and outperforming the competition.
- Grow Revenue and Profitability: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability across the business, aligned with UK strategy goals and vertical expectations.
- Manage P&L and Budgeting: Hold full P&L forecasting and budgeting responsibility, managing costs and profitability for the UK business and each department.
- Oversee Purchasing and Commercial Activities: Control all purchasing activity related to the UK Consumer Goods business and define commercial guidelines for customer activity within UK Consumer Goods.
- Define and Monitor Key Performance Metrics: Develop and lead a strong management team, ensuring best practice processes support excellence in inventory, logistics, and customer service.
- Experience: Proven experience within a Consumer Goods Vertical within a 3PL environment.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on driving growth and innovation.
- Full P&L Management Experience: Full P&L management experience, including forecasting and budgeting.
- Strategic Leadership: Strong strategic leadership experience, with a proven track record of driving business growth and performance.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen, with experience in managing accounts and driving operational excellence.
