About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Support Officer to join our Estates and Facilities Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the main administration office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Facilities Department, including maintaining accurate records and liaising with various departments and external organizations.
  • Develop and update the Facilities Intranet web pages to ensure timely and accurate information is available to staff.
  • Provide backup support for other areas within Estates and Facilities, including covering for the Travel Office.
  • Support the Refurbishment Programme Manager as required, both physically and throughout the organization, and facilitate department moves, including those outside of normal office hours and weekends.
  • Provide essential cover for the Trust's logistics van driver during periods of absence.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Previous clerical, administrative, and computer experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Recognized administrative experience.
  • NVQ III in Business Administration or equivalent.
