Job Title: Procurement Systems Specialist

Croydon Council is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and systems that ensure efficient and effective procurement practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of procurement policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Deliver system reports to support legislative requirements, including the Procurement Act.
  • Produce reports of procurement, purchasing, and contract management performance across the council.
  • Support the maintenance of procurement documents, templates, and guidance.
  • Manage a contract manager network to aid sharing of issues and examples of good practice.
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of P2P and strategic procurement systems functionality.
  • Working knowledge of change management and project management within a context of system development and implementation.
  • Public Sector procurement experience.
