Croydon Council is seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Systems Specialist to join our Strategic Procurement and Governance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of procurement systems to support the Council's strategic objectives.

About the Role

The Senior Procurement Systems Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing procurement systems to improve planning and tracking of procurements, support contract management activities, and enhance e-tendering systems.
  • Ensuring systems have capacity to capture required procurement and purchasing performance information and can report on this.
  • Developing and continually improving dashboards that capture procurement and purchasing performance information from multiple system sources.
  • Developing system controls to aid compliance to policies and procedures.
  • Continually improving the functionality of the e-tendering system to support the strategic procurement process.
About You

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a detailed knowledge of P2P and strategic procurement systems functionality, as well as experience in change management and project management within a context of system development and implementation. Public Sector procurement experience is also required.
