Job Title: Senior Procurement Systems Specialist

Croydon Council is seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Systems Specialist to join our Strategic Procurement and Governance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and systems that drive efficient and effective procurement practices across the Council.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Purchase to Pay (P2P) and strategic procurement systems functionality, as well as experience in change management and project management within a system development and implementation context. You will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and systems that ensure compliance with procurement and purchasing regulations, including the Procurement Act.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting reviews of compliance to Procurement/Purchasing policies and procedures and actions to address issues.
  • Delivering system reports to support legislative requirements.
  • Producing reports of procurement, purchasing, and contract management performance across the Council.
  • Supporting the maintenance of procurement documents, templates, and guidance.
  • Supporting the measurement of contract manager performance against agreed performance standards.
