Job Title: Head of Product Assurance Weapon Systems UK - Maritime

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional to lead our Product Assurance team in the UK. As Head of Product Assurance, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and for developing and implementing quality assurance processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the Product Assurance team in the UK, providing guidance and support to ensure the quality of our products and services.
  2. Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate quality risks, and to develop and implement corrective actions.
  4. Provide quality assurance support to our customers, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with our products and services.
  5. Manage and develop the skills and competencies of the Product Assurance team, ensuring that they have the necessary knowledge and expertise to perform their roles effectively.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering or Quality Assurance field.
  2. Experienced quality professional, preferably from within an engineering subject area with a consistent record in Quality Assurance.
  3. Experienced with the management of quality tools.
  4. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

  1. Company Bonus: of up to 27% of base salary.
  2. Car Allowance: of £300 per month.
  3. Pension: maximum total (employer and employee) contribution of up to 14%.
  4. 25 days annual leave (plus holiday purchase).
