About the Role

Cantium Business Solutions, part of the Commercial Services Group, is seeking a Service Transition Manager to oversee the operational execution of change, configuration, and release management processes across the integrated supply chain.

The successful candidate will ensure new, modified, or retired services are delivered and meet business requirements. They will be responsible for defining policies for service transition, identifying and implementing improvements to service transition processes, and developing and managing Change and Release processes.

This is a hybrid working role with at least one day per week working in our Kings Hill office. The ideal candidate will have a Level 5 or degree qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role, ITIL foundation certificate, and demonstrable knowledge of IT Service Design and implementation methodology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define policies for service transition and disciplines, and establish effective controls and principles
  • Identify and implement improvements to service transition processes to ensure cost-effectiveness and improvements to current processes
  • Develop and manage Change and Release processes to deliver results and collaborate on resource planning/deployment to optimize shared resources
  • Responsible for the control of Changes and Releases to the live environment and that the integrity and stability of live services is protected
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of Knowledge Management across ICT teams ensuring adherence to policies and processes to improve efficiency and drive down cost
