Food and Beverage Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our team at Langdon Hall Country House Hotel and Spa. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring that every dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Supervise and train dining room staff to ensure high standards of service and quality.
- Plan and implement effective training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the dining room.
- Assist with scheduling and staffing to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with guests to ensure repeat business and positive reviews.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a food and beverage role, with 2+ years in a supervisory position.
- Thorough knowledge of fine dining service procedures and functions.
- Excellent knowledge of food and wine pairing.
- Supervisory experience in front-of-house operations within a fine dining restaurant, hotel, or similar establishment.
- Smart Serve certification required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
