We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our team at Langdon Hall Country House Hotel and Spa. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional guest service and ensure a consistently high level of satisfaction
  • Lead and motivate the dining room team to achieve excellence in service and quality
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance team member skills and knowledge
  • Monitor and maintain the physical appearance of the dining room and workstations
  • Supervise the scheduling and assignment of tasks to team members
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including attendance, reservations, and incident reports
  • Assist team members on the floor as needed and perform other duties as required
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a food and beverage role, with 2+ years in a similar position
  • Thorough knowledge of fine dining service procedures and functions
  • Excellent knowledge of food and wine pairing
  • In-depth knowledge of food preparation and presentation
  • Supervisory experience in front-of-house operations within a fine dining restaurant, hotel, or similar establishment
  • Smart Serve certification
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make independent decisions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
