Culinary Specialist | Catering Division | Flexible Hours |

Spire Healthcare Ltd is seeking a Culinary Specialist to enhance our dynamic team. This is a Bank role, offering a flexible 0-hour contract, ideal for individuals seeking adaptable working hours.

As a Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for working in specific areas of the main kitchen, preparing high-quality meals that are both cost-effective and uphold the highest hygiene standards in accordance with our protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional food and service across all hospitality sectors.
  • Assist the head or senior chef in all kitchen operations and uphold standards.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for all staff and patrons, both internal and external.
  • Ensure compliance with all HACCP regulations.
  • Guarantee the consistent and efficient delivery of food throughout all hospitality services.
  • Promote a collaborative culture between kitchen and service staff, as well as all departments within Spire Healthcare.
  • Lead by example to ensure uniformity in food production and presentation.

Candidate Profile:

Applicants should possess prior culinary experience.

  • Preferred NVQ level 2 or higher.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certification is required.
  • Possess relevant certifications or be willing to undertake specialized training in specific areas.
  • Experience in a similar establishment is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated professional capable of working independently.
  • Highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours: Monday to Sunday, a combination of shifts.

Contract Type: Bank
