Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Outpatients team at Tunbridge Wells Hospital. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical teams and providing exceptional care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist colleagues in various specialties, including Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Neurosurgery, and more.
  • Provide individualized care to patients, ensuring their needs are met and their experience is positive.
  • Manage a range of activities and priorities, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics.
  • Support consultants and nurses with procedures, such as dressings and wound care.
  • Carry out pre-assessment, both face-to-face and over the phone.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
  • Qualifications in NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
