Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our Outpatients team at Nuffield Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare professionals in Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Neurosurgery, Plastics Surgery, ENT, Cardiology, GP Services, Psychiatry, and Physiotherapy
  • Provide individualized patient care and support to patients and their families
  • Manage daily operations of our clinics, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of services
  • Assist with procedures such as dressings and wound care, under the supervision of qualified healthcare professionals
  • Conduct pre-assessment activities, both face-to-face and over the phone

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an acute hospital or care environment
  • Qualifications in NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations
