About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver a consistent and high standard of care.
  • Assist with clinical and non-clinical tasks, under the supervision of a Registered Healthcare Professional, to ensure the smooth operation of our healthcare services.
  • Develop strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, providing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and compassion.

Requirements

  • Holds or commitment to complete the Care Certificate Programme within the first 6 months.
  • Good general education and ability to read, write, perform simple calculations, and communicate in English.
  • Desirable criteria include English and Maths Level 1 or GCSE English and Maths grade D/3 or above, and experience within a care role or setting.
