Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our Outpatients team at Tunbridge Wells Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients and staff in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist healthcare professionals in Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Neurosurgery, Plastics Surgery, ENT, Cardiology, GP Services, Psychiatry, and Physiotherapy
  • Provide individualized care to patients, ensuring their needs are met and their comfort is prioritized
  • Manage a wide range of activities and prioritize tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations
  • Assist with procedures, such as dressings and wound care, under the supervision of qualified healthcare professionals
  • Conduct pre-assessment interviews, both face-to-face and over the phone, to ensure patients are prepared for their appointments

Person Specification

  • Relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting
