Job Title: Workday Certified Financials Consultant

Job Summary:

FalconSmartIT is seeking a highly skilled Workday Financials Consultant to join our team. As a Workday Certified Financials Consultant, you will be responsible for providing post-production support and enhancement services in multiple areas of Workday Financials and serving as the subject matter expert to assist fellow team members and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Expertise: Provide post-production support and enhancement services in multiple areas of Workday Financials and serve as the subject matter expert to assist fellow team members and clients.
  • Advisory and Planning: Participate in advisory, planning, and implementation of additional Workday Financial modules by documenting requirements, mapping processes, and implementing best-practice configuration.
  • Client Management: Manage client relationships and resolve client support requests varying from operational support issue resolution, phase x implementations, and enhancement projects, release planning, to strategic road mapping services.
  • Leadership: Lead sessions with clients and team members to analyze and scope complex business requirements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the delivery team on day-to-day activities, incidents, root cause analysis, and other work requests.
  • Task Prioritization: Prioritize and delegate requests and tasks by level of urgency, scope, complexity, and team availability.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Provide guidance to and collaborate with team members to research and resolve complex client requests.
  • Best Practices: Provide Workday best practices and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients by providing subject matter expertise on Workday best practices and recommendations.
  • Client Satisfaction: Prioritize client interest and proactively listen to ensure that work exceeds their expectations.
  • Internal Relationships: Actively foster internal relationships, share knowledge, and mentor other consultants, and contribute as a leader to grow our practice.
  • Initiative: Take initiative to perform or delegate other related duties as needs are discovered, including internal projects.

Requirements:

  • Workday Expertise: Strong understanding of core Workday competencies (business process, reporting, security) and deep expertise in one (or multiple) Workday Financials functional areas.
  • Implementation Experience: Experience implementing/supporting Workday modules related to Accounting, Banking & Settlements, Budgets, Expenses, Projects, and Cash Management preferred.
  • Workday Experience: 5+ years of recent Workday experience implementing/Supporting Workday Financials.
  • Strong Experience: Strong experience within Workday Financials deployments and operational support projects.
  • Client Relationships: Ability to build and develop strong client relationships.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Passionate about knowledge sharing.
  • Technology Skills: Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with clients and co-workers in a positive manner that engenders confidence and trust.
  • Problem-Solving: Good problem solver with ability to consider alternative and diverse perspectives.
