Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Fire Safety Consultant to join a leading retrofit organization based in London, contributing to their expanding team.

This role will involve working on external wall and cladding projects across the UK, with opportunities for remote work available.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will support the highly proficient surveying team in preparing client reports that assess the overall safety of buildings, particularly focusing on the identification of both internal and external wall materials.

The ideal Fire Safety Consultant will possess the confidence and expertise to evaluate and suggest modifications to fire strategies and interim safety measures based on thorough reviews of building provisions and fire risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on a variety of large-scale projects
  • Ensure quality assurance in the installation of fire stopping and cladding
  • Conduct on-site inspections
  • Prepare Fire Strategy Reports
  • Draft comprehensive fire engineering reports
  • Perform site visits

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Fire Engineering
  • Relevant degree in Engineering
  • Aspirations to work towards or be a member of the Institution of Fire Engineers

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of £55,000 - £120,000, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
