About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at St Johns House Medical Centre. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, responding to queries and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manage patient appointments, including booking, cancelling, and rescheduling, as well as handling requests for home visits and telephone consultations.
- Process patient information, including registration, updates, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and maintaining patient records.
- Work collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a reception or administrative role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with patients, staff, and external agencies.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
