About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Medical Receptionist to join our team at St Johns House Medical Centre. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing a warm and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, responding to queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the front desk, including answering phones, handling correspondence, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Coordinate appointments, including booking, rescheduling, and cancelling, as well as managing patient flow and wait times.
  • Process patient payments, handle cash, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and photocopying.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict data protection protocols.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a reception or administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse patients and staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
