Role Overview
We are seeking a Condition Monitoring Engineer who ideally resides in or near Cardiff and is open to traveling throughout the South Wales region and potentially beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement condition-based maintenance (CBM) strategies using techniques such as vibration analysis, ultrasound, thermography, and oil analysis.
- Conduct data collection and analyze equipment performance, failure records, and maintenance history.
- Evaluate and report on machinery performance, providing recommendations for enhancements.
- Specify, set up, and install online and wireless systems or remote monitoring sensors.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a competitive starting salary of £37,000, commensurate with experience, along with a £5,000 annual car cash allowance. Additional benefits include:

Qualifications
- Level 2 Vibration Analysis accreditation with a minimum of 12 months of experience.
- Familiarity with condition monitoring hardware and software.
- A Mechanical Engineering qualification (Level 3 or higher).
- Preferably, experience in engineering within marine, rail, or manufacturing sectors.
- Possession of a full UK driving license.
