A Lead Reliability Engineer is required to aid in ensuring all manufacturing equipment is in top working condition, leading to higher productivity. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

The organisation is a prominent manufacturer with a focus on Engineering & Manufacturing, they operate at multiple sites, including a key location in Liverpool.

Description

  • Conducting routine inspections of equipment and systems to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Utilise Reliability Engineering tools such as CMMS, Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM), Risk Based Inspections (RBI), Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), PM Plan optimisation's, equipment history analysis, failure predictions, predictive maintenance techniques and other to maximise equipment reliability.
  • Identifying faults and implementing corrective actions to minimise downtime.
  • Developing and implementing maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability.
  • Collaborating with the wider Engineering team to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Providing technical input into the design and installation of new equipment.
  • Recording and analysing data related to equipment performance and reliability.
  • Training other team members on reliability principles and practices.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Profile

A successful Reliability Engineer should have:

  • Proven reliability experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to demonstrate driving change and implementing new ways of working.
  • Strong knowledge of reliability principles and maintenance strategies.
  • A problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
