Position Overview

As a key member of the Engineering Team at Princes Limited, the Reliability Engineer will report directly to the Asset Care Manager. This role is pivotal in executing planned, condition-based, and reliability-centered maintenance strategies across the site, ensuring the integration of these practices into the overall Asset Care Plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety and Quality Assurance
    • Conduct all tasks with a strong emphasis on safety, environmental, and quality protocols.
    • Ensure compliance with all operational standards and procedures.
    • Promote a culture of safety awareness to minimize accidents and incidents.
  • Asset Care and Reliability Engineering
    • Collaborate with the Asset Care Manager and Engineering team to develop effective maintenance strategies.
    • Implement condition-based monitoring techniques as part of a proactive asset management approach.
    • Utilize reliability-centered maintenance methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Analyze key performance indicators such as Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) to drive improvements in equipment performance.
    • Support the execution of asset care plans, ensuring effective use of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
    • Maintain engineering standards and address any performance issues within the supply operations.
    • Understand and drive performance standards for essential site services.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Engage with various support functions to ensure seamless execution of asset care schedules.
    • Maintain open lines of communication with engineering, manufacturing, and planning teams to align maintenance activities with production priorities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong understanding of advanced asset management techniques.
  • Experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with factory services such as electricity, steam, and compressed air.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in utilizing CMMS, preferably SAP PM.

This role encompasses a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall success of the Engineering function at Princes Limited, requiring flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the business.
