Position Summary:

The Junior Paraplanner will collaborate with seasoned Paraplanners to provide essential support to Wealth Planners within a distinguished wealth management organization. This position presents a valuable opportunity to pursue Financial Planning qualifications.

The Junior Paraplanner will conduct thorough research based on insights gathered by the Wealth Planner, facilitating the recommendation of appropriate solutions tailored to meet clients' needs and objectives.

Key responsibilities include performing precise calculations and cash-flow modeling, as well as preparing suitability reports and correspondence for Wealth Planners to communicate their recommendations effectively.

The Junior Paraplanner will ensure that all drafted suitability reports and communications are transparent, fair, and not misleading.

Additionally, the Junior Paraplanner will draft and coordinate technical documentation and research for client presentations.

When conducting research or preparing suitability reports, the Junior Paraplanner will proactively identify potential areas for future advice.

Collaboration with the broader team is essential to achieve positive client outcomes.

Candidate Profile:

Desirable experience in Financial Planning practices and disciplines, including internships in Wealth Planning or Financial Planning Administration.

Minimum educational qualification of A Level/Higher standard (or equivalent).

Possession of a Certificate in Financial Services or Certificate in Regulated Financial Services Operations (or equivalent) is preferred, along with prior paraplanning experience.

A commitment to obtaining the RQF level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent) is essential.

Understanding of Regulatory and Compliance requirements relevant to the role, with a proactive approach to addressing concerns or issues in a timely manner.
