We are currently recruiting for a Junior Paraplanner to join our team in London. As a Junior Paraplanner, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Paraplanners and assisting in the advice process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Letter of Authority (LOA) Management: Send, monitor, and chase LOAs to providers and obtain plan information.
- Research: Provide high-quality research and administrative support to Paraplanners, including contacting providers to obtain and compile accurate policy information.
- Policy Information Management: Record policy information accurately into Provider Information Forms and Curo.
- Asset Allocation Research: Undertake research for asset allocation on existing client portfolios using FE Analytics and in-house research tools.
- Protection and Annuity Research: Undertake whole-of-market research for protection and annuity quotes.
- Pension Illustrations: Prepare pension illustrations.
- Pension Transfer Analysis: Conduct pension transfer analysis using SelectaPension.
- Client Communication: Speak regularly with advisers, Paraplanners, and CSAs to keep them up to date with advice in the pipeline.
- Relationship Building: Build strong and effective working relationships with other teams in the firm and third-party product providers.
- Data Management: Ensure that all client records and data are maintained accurately.
- Model Portfolios: Construct model portfolios as required on relevant platforms.
- Advice Letters and Tax Calculations: Draft simple advice letters and prepare tax calculations (outside of CGT) under supervision from a Paraplanner Manager.
- Project Work: Participate in projects on an ad-hoc basis as required by the business.
