JJ SEARCH LIMITED is a prominent Wealth Management firm specializing in Discretionary Investment Portfolios.
Position Summary:
The Junior Paraplanner will collaborate with seasoned Paraplanners to provide essential support to Wealth Planners within a respected wealth management organization. This position presents a valuable opportunity to pursue Financial Planning certifications.
The Junior Paraplanner will conduct thorough research based on insights gathered by the Wealth Planner, facilitating the recommendation of appropriate solutions tailored to meet clients' needs and objectives.
Key responsibilities include performing precise calculations and cash-flow modeling, as well as preparing suitability reports and correspondence for Wealth Planners to present their recommendations to clients.
The Junior Paraplanner will ensure that all drafted suitability reports and communications are transparent, equitable, and not misleading.
Additionally, the Junior Paraplanner will draft and organize technical documents and research for client presentations.
When conducting research or preparing suitability reports, the Junior Paraplanner will proactively identify potential areas for future advice.
Collaboration with the broader team is essential to achieve positive client outcomes.
Candidate Profile:
Experience in Financial Planning practices is desirable, with a background in Wealth Planning internships or Financial Planning Administration preferred.
Applicants should possess at least A Level/Higher standard education (or equivalent).
A Certificate in Financial Services or a Certificate in Regulated Financial Services Operations (or equivalent) is advantageous, along with any prior paraplanning experience.
A commitment to achieving the RQF level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent) is expected.
Understanding of Regulatory and Compliance requirements relevant to the role is essential, with a responsibility to adhere to these processes and promptly escalate any concerns or issues.
