Position Summary:

The Junior Financial Planner will collaborate with seasoned Paraplanners to provide essential support to Wealth Planners within a distinguished wealth management organization. This position presents an excellent opportunity to pursue Financial Planning certifications.

The Junior Financial Planner will conduct thorough research based on insights gathered by the Wealth Planner, enabling the Wealth Planner to propose effective solutions tailored to meet clients' financial goals and objectives.

Key responsibilities include performing precise calculations and cash-flow modeling, as well as preparing suitability reports and correspondence for Wealth Planners to communicate their recommendations to clients.

The Junior Financial Planner will ensure that all drafted suitability reports and communications are transparent, equitable, and not misleading.

Additionally, the Junior Financial Planner will draft and organize technical documents and research materials for client presentations.

When conducting research or preparing suitability reports, the Junior Financial Planner will proactively identify potential areas for future advisory services.

Collaboration with the broader team is essential to achieve positive client outcomes.

Candidate Profile:

Preferred experience in Financial Planning practices and related fields. Previous internship in Wealth Planning or experience in Financial Planning Administration is advantageous.

Applicants should possess at least A Level/Higher standard education (or equivalent).

A Certificate in Financial Services or Certificate in Regulated Financial Services Operations (or equivalent) is desirable, along with prior paraplanning experience.

Commitment to attaining RQF level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent) is expected.

Understanding of the relevant Regulatory and Compliance requirements is crucial, with a commitment to adhering to these processes and promptly escalating any concerns or issues.
