Lead and Optimize Citi's Know Your Client (KYC) Program

As a Global KYC Operations Senior Group Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the success of Citi's comprehensive KYC program. This senior management position demands a strategic mindset and proven leadership skills to manage a team dedicated to ensuring robust AML monitoring, governance, oversight, and regulatory reporting.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a global operational framework for KYC processes, ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with international standards across all business units.
  • Manage capacity planning and performance scorecards to optimize productivity and resource allocation within the KYC Business Support Unit (BSU).
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and Compliance teams to establish clear targets for throughput and ensure accurate reporting of operational metrics.
  • Lead impact analysis assessments for technology changes, process improvements, and regulatory updates, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Directly engage with global core functions (Re-Engineering, Business Solutions and Support, Controls, and the Business Management Office) to drive KYC program initiatives, system releases, and management reporting.
  • Foster a culture of risk awareness and compliance within your team, ensuring adherence to Citigroup's policies and regulatory requirements.

Your Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in financial services, with a strong focus on KYC/AML operations.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams in a complex operational environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.
