2nd Line Support Engineer

VIQU Limited is a prominent player in the financial services sector, committed to providing exceptional solutions to its clientele. As part of a significant domain migration initiative following a merger, we are in search of a proficient 2nd Line Support Engineer. This role involves collaborating with users in the financial domain to facilitate the setup of their laptops within the new domain, ensuring a smooth transition and delivering ongoing support after the migration.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in a merger context and have a solid background in supporting tenant-tenant/domain migrations in prior roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Windows 10/11: Administration and support.
  • Office 365: Administration and support.
  • Active Directory: Proficient experience.
  • User Setup:
    • Assist users in configuring their laptops for the new domain.
    • Ensure accurate migration of user settings, applications, and data.
    • Provide comprehensive guidance and support throughout the transition.
  • Ongoing Support:
    • Deliver continuous technical assistance post-login to the new domain.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any connectivity, application access, or user profile issues that arise.
    • Work collaboratively with 3rd line support and other IT teams to address complex challenges.
  • Documentation & Training:
    • Maintain thorough records of user interactions and resolved issues.
    • Create and update user guides and documentation to aid in the transition.
    • Conduct training sessions to help users acclimate to the new domain environment.

This role requires onsite presence five days a week.
