As a SQL Database Developer, you will be integral to the development and optimization of Markit EDM, ensuring that teams across the business receive the vital Market Data they require to trade.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance databases using PostgreSQL, MySQL, and T-SQL
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize database requirements
- Develop and implement software solutions using C# and other OO programming languages
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards
- Academic record of achievement, minimum 2.1 at BSc from a top-tier university, Computer Science or similar technical/scientific discipline, backed by minimum A, A, B grades at A-level
- Strong SQL database development experience
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, and T-SQL
- Experience with software engineering languages, C# preferred but any OO programming language is fine
- Collaborative with great communication skills, excited to join a start-up in a role that you can shape and influence
As a SQL Database Developer, you will earn a competitive salary (up to £130k) plus significant bonus and benefits.
