Revolutionize Wealth Management with SearchData

SearchData is partnering with a pioneering Newcastle-based business to transform the wealth management industry through innovative technology solutions. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement optimized database procedures, tables, and SQL server agent jobs using T-SQL script.
  • Manage, maintain, and support a large portfolio of SQL Server databases (over 1,100 databases).
  • Query and maintain very large databases (6TB) and partition large tables.
  • Assist software developers in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
  • Provide consultation on query optimization and database design optimization.
  • Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies for databases.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to maintain performance and availability.
Requirements:
  • Strong practical experience with T-SQL script and database performance tuning.
  • Experience with managing and maintaining large databases.
  • Ability to query and maintain very large databases.
  • Understanding of database performance-tuning software like Solarwinds DPA.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics.
