About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator to join our award-winning technology firm. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and fine-tuning databases, executing improvements, and tracking performance. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of our technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement database solutions, including query optimization and database design optimization.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Design and implement backup and recovery strategies for databases.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database management.
Requirements
  • Strong practical experience with T-SQL scripting and database management.
  • Experience with SQL Server databases, including query optimization and database design optimization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with software development teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary range: £45k - £50k.
  • 23 days of holiday (plus bank holidays).
