Job Title: Distribution Manager

Ace Records Ltd is seeking an experienced Distribution Manager to join our team. As a leading reissue record company, we are looking to expand our physical distribution service to a wider client base of like-minded labels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with UK-based retail accounts, ensuring timely and efficient communication.
  • Compile weekly release solicitations for retail, in conjunction with the sales team, to maximize buy-in and sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with the label management team to manage stock needs and client requirements.
  • Present retail marketing opportunities to the label management team and collaborate with accounts to establish new opportunities and marketing innovations.
  • Propose price campaigns and compile campaign project plans for retail, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
  • Provide sales and marketing reporting to label management and senior management, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of music release sales within entertainment retail.
  • Demonstrable relationship-building skills with colleagues and clients.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive and creative approach to work, helping Ace distributed labels and artists stand out in a crowded marketplace.
  • A passion for independent music and a willingness to contribute to the company's mission.
