Ace Records Ltd is a leading reissue record company seeking an experienced physical distribution manager to expand its physical distribution service to a wider client base of like-minded labels.

The successful candidate will work alongside our long-established physical sales team, overseeing UK sales, global D2C, and the fulfilment of international sales for all distributed labels.

This is a full-time position based at the Ace Records HQ, requiring at least 2 years of music sales experience, a proven track record of excelling as part of a close-knit team, and a passion for independent music and vinyl.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage relationships with several UK based retail accounts.
  • Compile weekly release solicitations for retail, in conjunction with the sales team.
  • Highlight key releases to retail to maximise buy in, sales, and retail marketing opportunities.
  • Work closely with the label management team to manage stock needs and the general needs of their key label clients.
  • Present retail marketing opportunities to the label management team and work with your accounts to establish new opportunities and marketing innovations.
  • Propose price campaigns, across single titles or entire catalogues, and compile campaign project plans for retail.
  • Work with our pick and pack team, to ensure timely delivery of orders to UK retail, international partners, and eCommerce customers.
  • Provide sales and marketing reporting to label management team and senior management.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure timely invoicing and collections.

  • Has strong organisational skills and an eye for detail.
  • Is proactive and creative in their approach to work.
  • Has a passion for a wide range of independent music.
