About the Role:
As an Internal Communications Coordinator at Sovereign Housing Association, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our internal narrative. Your mission will be to develop and execute communication strategies that resonate with our workforce, fostering a culture of engagement and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with senior management to create and implement communication initiatives that motivate and inform employees.

• Develop Engaging Content: Craft messages that transform team members into passionate supporters of our organizational objectives, while analyzing the impact of these communications to refine future strategies. Simplify complex information into clear, accessible language.

• Facilitate Communication Opportunities: Oversee the coordination of communication activities across various platforms, design innovative communication solutions, and lead editorial discussions to identify synergies within Corporate Affairs.

• Enhance Digital Communication: Partner with the Product team to improve our digital communication tools, ensuring they are intuitive and effectively connect our team.

• Provide Expert Guidance: Offer strategic insights on communication best practices, utilizing data analytics and creative methods. Stay informed about trends and challenges in the social housing sector, particularly regarding communication innovations and regulatory changes, and share this knowledge with your colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in internal communications or a related field.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.

• Strong organizational skills with effective planning capabilities for managing communication projects.

• A collaborative mindset with the capacity to build relationships with various stakeholders and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Proficient in digital communication platforms, with a solid understanding of Microsoft tools, including Viva and SharePoint, to enhance content delivery. Familiarity with digital newsletter platforms is advantageous.

• A passion for problem-solving and devising innovative communication strategies.

• Experience in creating engaging multimedia content is a plus.
