The AA is a leading provider of roadside assistance, but our business is expanding, diversifying, and modernizing. As an Internal Communications Manager, you will play a key role in our success on our exciting motoring journey.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager to join our team. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering internal communications and engagement strategies that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communications Planning: Plan and execute effective communication activities to engage employees in The AA's vision and priorities, aligned to broader organizational goals.
  • Strategic Advisory: Provide communication guidance to the leadership team, promoting best practices and strategic alignment.
  • Storytelling: Collaborate on the internal communications strategy for Roadside Operations and translate priorities into meaningful concepts for Road Operations employees.
  • Campaign and Event Execution: Plan and deliver campaigns and events that illustrate The AA's vision and priorities, supporting internal events including patrol roadshows, leadership events, and The AA annual awards.
  • Performance Analysis: Assess communication efforts, identify engagement trends, and recommend strategies for improvement.
  • Operational Communication Management: Lead the end-to-end process of patrol messaging, including content creation, approval, and distribution, adhering to established communication protocols.
  • Strategic Communication: Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans and campaigns.
  • Planning and Integration: Plan activities that align with and support broader business messages and projects.
  • Copywriting Expertise: Craft engaging content tailored for diverse audiences and channels.
  • Technical Proficiency: Utilize platforms such as Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Yammer, Poppulo, and Stream.
