Job Summary: We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Caretaker/Maintenance person to join our team at Katherine Shields Private Staff Ltd. As a key member of our estate management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our large estate near Henley-on-Thames.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work
  • Understanding and managing the plant room
  • Working independently and as part of a team to prioritize tasks and achieve goals
  • Providing exceptional support to our clients and their families, including feeding their dogs, running errands, and performing various household tasks
  • Ensuring the estate's grounds and facilities are well-maintained and presented

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Driver's license and access to a vehicle (a company car will be provided)

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary, negotiable between £50,000 and £55,000 gross per annum, depending on experience
  • A 5-day working week, with 40-45 hours per week
