Job Title: Principal Business Solutions & Improvement Officer

Electus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a seasoned improvement practitioner to join our team as a Principal Business Solutions & Improvement Officer. This is a permanent role based in Stevenage, with a salary of £50k + £2.5k Annual Bonus.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team, leading approved functional improvements in processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance overall efficiency. You will be responsible for supporting the UK Procurement and Supply Chain identification, development, and implementation of functional improvement and transformation activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Manage tools improvement activities in support of Procurement and Supply Chain activities.
  • Create, publish, and support the implementation of new policies and processes through training and communication to the Procurement and Supply Chain teams.
  • Provide ongoing functional support regarding the improvement/implementation of processes and tools.
  • Work with internal customers and manage solution suppliers to implement, improve, and deliver the Procurement & Supply Chain Domain strategy.
Requirements
  • On the job experience will be vast and will take you into different cultures and practices.
  • You will have the chance to improve your competence by attendance of training, coaching, and knowledge capitalisation events carried out from within the Procurement and Supply Chain Academy.
  • Experience of working in a complex matrix organisation, with an ability to work collaboratively, build relationships, and demonstrate value-add.
  • You will have good analytical and presentation skills, able to distil analysis to a meaningful direction for the receiver (possible actions to be taken).
  • You will have excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to monitor and drive to completion.
  • A proven track record of delivering improvements in a Procurement & Supply Chain environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Ivalua would be an advantage.
