About Ortho Clinical Diagnostics: With over 40 years of experience in manufacturing, our state-of-the-art facilities are dedicated to producing clinical laboratory and immunohematology products for global distribution. Our team is focused on developing a comprehensive range of immunohematology and immunoassay products that address various health conditions.

Your new role: As the Global Supply Chain Coordinator, you will oversee supply planning, the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, inventory forecasting, and the management of product launches and discontinuations within your designated portfolio. Your focus will be on achieving various global planning objectives, including inventory management and minimizing waste. You will also engage in projects aimed at enhancing supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze global demand and supplier capabilities to develop optimal short- and long-term plans that meet service and inventory targets. Risk mitigation and inventory modeling will be crucial to achieving these objectives.
  • Update planning parameters and purchase orders to facilitate effective supply planning.
  • Formulate an optimized allocation strategy for available products during constrained situations, identifying key performance drivers and implementing action plans to meet or exceed business targets.
  • Manage initiatives related to product launches, discontinuations, S&OP best practices, and other supply chain improvement projects.
  • Support the monthly S&OP process, leading global demand handovers to internal manufacturing teams and driving collaborative decisions with cross-functional partners.
  • Conduct financial inventory forecasting and perform gap analysis.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, or Operations.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or a related field is essential, with a preference for candidates with supply and inventory planning experience.
  • Strong analytical skills are necessary, including proficiency in handling complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is required.
  • Familiarity with ERP and planning systems, especially SAP APO, SAP FIT, and SAP Crossroads, is advantageous.
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • APICS certification and training in Process Excellence tools are highly desirable.
  • A self-motivated individual capable of working independently and communicating effectively across all organizational levels is preferred.
