Position Overview

Diagnostic World is a prominent healthcare organization dedicated to providing exceptional ultrasound scanning services within the community, collaborating closely with the NHS. Our facilities are strategically located within GP practices and hospitals across the nation, ensuring enhanced patient choice and flexibility regarding appointment scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Transporting portable ultrasound equipment between various locations as needed, ensuring readiness for clinical sessions. A valid driving license is a prerequisite for this position.
  • Assisting Sonographers during clinics, which includes providing patient care and serving as a Chaperone, while also utilizing IT systems effectively.
  • Offering aftercare support to patients post-scanning procedures.
  • Aiding in the cleaning and maintenance of equipment as required.
  • Ensuring that clinical rooms are maintained in a clean and organized manner, restoring them to their original state after use.
  • Complying with company policies regarding health and safety, data protection, and confidentiality.
  • Managing the inventory of clinical supplies and coordinating replenishment with the Clinic Manager.

  • Strong patient care and communication abilities.
  • A friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Capability to work collaboratively within a small, dedicated team.
  • Eligibility to work and reside in the UK.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in planning and prioritizing tasks.
  • Competent IT skills.
