Position Overview

Aramco Trading Limited (ATL) is seeking a Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Finance Department in London. This role is essential for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance within our dynamic trading environment.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; candidates who are fully or partially qualified (CIMA or ACCA) are preferred.
  • Experience in the oil and gas trading sector is advantageous.
  • Proficient in preparing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Expertise in financial software and IT systems.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the validation and reconciliation of financial accounts prior to reporting.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements in compliance with regulations.
  • Provide insightful commentary on financial results.
  • Compile and produce annual financial reports.
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and management.
  • Support interim and annual audit processes, collaborating with auditors.
  • Address and resolve internal and external audit inquiries.
  • Conduct impairment assessments of investments.
  • Perform reviews in accordance with IFRS 16 standards.
  • Analyze and investigate discrepancies and variances in financial data.
  • Assist in the month-end financial reporting cycle.
