Job Opportunity

East Ayrshire Council is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to undertake a structured programme of work as a Modern Apprentice in Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To undertake a comprehensive training programme that includes both external study and internal training to develop skills, knowledge, and practical experience in a professional workplace environment.
  • To apply and be considered for this role, applicants must be residents of East Ayrshire and meet the age requirements.
  • The successful candidate will be employed on a full-time temporary basis with a 35-hour workweek and a competitive rate of pay.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be between 16 and 24 years old, with exceptions for care-experienced individuals or those with disabilities up to the age of 29.
  • The successful candidate will be required to work at the Council Headquarters.
