We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our Wastewater Production team. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our electrical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Electrical Maintenance: Implement an efficient electrical maintenance and installation service, analyzing faults, rectifying, and ensuring correct operation of electrical and systems-based equipment.
- Planned Maintenance: Perform planned and proactive maintenance activities to prevent downtime and ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and internal company policies.
- Asset Performance: Maintain accurate and complete asset performance and repair information for entry into corporate systems.
- Problem-Solving: Analyze and recommend solutions to recurring maintenance problems, ensuring that throughout your career, the required skills, competence, and recency in all relevant subject matter are maintained.
- Qualifications: A time-served apprentice or equivalent, supported with academic qualifications ideally to HNC or minimum ONC equivalent in an electrical (mechanical) technical area.
- Experience: Industry experience, with a valid driving licence and experience of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems and associated networks to perform fault diagnostics, assist with disaster recovery, and small system modifications.
- Skills: Diagnostic, organisational, planning, communication, and computer skills, with a sound working knowledge of Simocode, Profibus, and similar industrial technology systems.
As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist with our Wastewater Production team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced modern maintenance environment, providing proactive, planned, and reactive support in all aspects of your field of expertise. You will be part of a standby rota and will have the opportunity to provide input into capital and operational projects to ensure assets fully meet operational and maintenance requirements.
