Position: Automotive Service Technician
Salary: Up To £32,500 based on experience = OTE £40,000
Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent: 40 hours per week with 1 in 3 Saturdays

Our client, a reputable and well-established dealership, is thriving and is eager to welcome you to their team during this exciting phase of growth. You will collaborate with an experienced Service Leader and benefit from manufacturer training, a positive work environment, and ample opportunities to keep you engaged and productive.
As a proficient automotive technician, you should possess the expertise to diagnose system malfunctions, rectify issues (including component replacements), and restore vehicle systems to manufacturer standards.
We invite applications from seasoned Vehicle Technicians who have achieved diagnostic or master technician qualifications within a franchised dealership context.
Essential requirements include a Full UK driving license and personal tools.
Depending on your expertise, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Applying your technical acumen to perform repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, covering both minor and major mechanical tasks
- Executing significant electrical and engine repair assignments
- Engaging with customers to discuss vehicle conditions and necessary repairs when required
- Conducting road tests on customer vehicles post-repair
- Utilizing advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues pertinent to the franchise brand
- Completing a Vehicle Health Check (VHC) to ensure that video completions meet targets and exceed all Vehicle (VHC) KPIs
QualificationsCandidate Requirements:
- Technical proficiency to confidently and safely conduct repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles
- Proven capability and confidence in operating systems and equipment within the workshop
- Experience in a franchised dealership adhering to the highest quality standards
- Track record of meeting productivity targets
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve optimal results for customers
- Qualified by experience in post or Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Mentoring and coaching apprentices while supporting less experienced team members

Goal-oriented, the candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and be recognized as a self-motivated team player and target achiever. A valid UK driving license is required.
