Automotive Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Pybus Recruitment Ltd. As a Motor Vehicle Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle systems, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Repair and Maintenance: Utilize your technical knowledge to carry out repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, including minor and major mechanical work.
- Diagnostic and Repair Work: Complete major electrical and engine repair work, using advanced diagnostic equipment to fault find items relevant to the franchise brand.
- Customer Interaction: Meet and discuss the vehicle and repairs needed with the customer when necessary, and carry out road tests of customer vehicles after work has been carried out.
- Quality and Productivity: Demonstrate capability and confidence in using systems and equipment within the workshop, and work as part of a team to achieve the best results for the customer.
- Training and Development: Mentor and coach apprentices and support less experienced team members.
- Technical Knowledge: Possess technical knowledge to allow you to confidently and safely carry out repairs and maintenance of customer vehicles.
- Experience: Have experience within a franchise dealer working to the highest quality standards, and experience of working to productivity targets.
- Qualifications: Be qualified by experience in post or Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Personal Qualities: Be a team player with a keen interest in people, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
