Are you an experienced technician with a solid background in a franchised dealership setting?
Our client, a reputable and established dealership, is thriving and is eager to welcome you to their team during this exciting period of growth. You will collaborate with a knowledgeable Service Leader and benefit from manufacturer training, a positive work environment, and a steady flow of work to keep you engaged.
As a proficient automotive technician, you will possess the expertise to diagnose system issues, rectify faults (including component replacements), and restore vehicle systems to manufacturer standards.
We are seeking applications from seasoned Vehicle Technicians who have achieved diagnostic or master technician qualifications within a franchised dealership.
A valid UK driving license and your own tools are essential.
Depending on your level of expertise, your responsibilities will include:
- Applying your technical skills to perform repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, encompassing both minor and major mechanical tasks
- Executing significant electrical and engine repair work
- Engaging with customers to discuss vehicle repairs when necessary
- Conducting road tests on customer vehicles post-repair
- Utilizing advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues relevant to the franchise brand
- Completing a Vehicle Health Check (VHC) and ensuring that VHC video completion meets targets and exceeds all Vehicle KPIs
QualificationsEssential Qualifications:
- Technical expertise to confidently and safely perform repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles
- Proven ability and confidence in utilizing systems and equipment within the workshop
- Experience in a franchise dealership adhering to the highest quality standards
- Track record of meeting productivity targets
- Collaborating as part of a team to achieve optimal results for customers
- Qualified by experience in post or Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Ability to mentor and coach apprentices while supporting less experienced team members
