Emergency Services Administrator

(Band 3)

Main Responsibilities

The role involves the accurate and efficient data entry of all relevant information into the appropriate systems for the Clinical Business Unit (CBU). As a member of the Emergency Services Team, the postholder will provide exceptional service to patients across all clinical areas within the CBU. Collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team is essential to ensure the necessary information is gathered and managed effectively. The postholder will also be responsible for maintaining Emergency care records in accordance with local policies, the Data Protection Act, and confidentiality standards.

Key Relationships

The role requires effective communication and collaboration with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and various departments across the Trust as necessary for patient care.

Department Overview

The department focuses on Unscheduled and Emergency Care, with occasional training responsibilities.

Job Summary

The postholder will support the emergency team in delivering an effective and efficient service to patients, ensuring compliance with national performance targets. It is crucial to monitor patient journeys to guarantee timely care and to escalate any issues as needed.

Experience and Knowledge

Essential

  • Understanding of customer service principles
