ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED SALES MANAGER SPECIALIZING IN SPECIFICATIONS, WORKING WITH USERS AND SPECIFIERS IN THE PRIVATE SECTOR, INCLUDING CONTRACTORS, OEMS, AND FACILITIES MANAGEMENT FIRMS?

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Sales Manager for Specifications to join a well-established and respected manufacturer known for its commitment to quality. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in specification sales and a solid understanding of collaboration with manufacturers. Familiarity with various market channels, including merchants, contractors, specifications, and new builds, is essential. A proven history of driving sales, fostering company growth, and managing key accounts is required.

This position is primarily external, with key responsibilities including proactive management of your account portfolio, planning customer visits, and maintaining communication throughout the sales process. You will be focused on achieving revenue and margin targets while ensuring a customer-centric approach that adds value and encourages clients to transition from their current providers. Collaboration with internal commercial and sales support teams will be vital in developing and aligning sales strategies. You will also be responsible for reporting on pipelines, portfolio status, revenues, and identifying risks and opportunities with actionable plans.

Key Responsibilities of the Specification Sales Manager:
* Focus on account management with an emphasis on relationship building and growth
* Achieve personal turnover and margin targets
* Collaborate with internal commercial and sales support teams
* Assist in contract and tender negotiations
* Monitor current market trends and anticipate future developments
* Analyze competitor activities
* Prepare forecasts and KPI reports for senior management
* Regular travel across the North of England, including occasional overnight stays
