About the Role

We are seeking an experienced clinician to join our team as a Clinical Lead for CAMHS. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the development and implementation of innovative strategies to support young people and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on complex assessments and formulations, developing evidence-based and specialist treatment plans.
  • Work alongside the Clinical Lead and Team Manager to support the delivery of psychological support across the service.
  • Provide clinical supervision to staff, as well as development and training opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the wider systems, including education, social care, and family/carers, to ensure comprehensive support for young people.
Requirements
  • Post-graduate training in psychological practice (psychologist, or family therapist).
  • Eligibility for registration as a full member of the appropriate professional body (HCPC, ACP, AFT, NMC).
  • Extensive experience of working with complex mental health presentations in children/young people, requiring skilled and complex interventions.
  • High levels of knowledge in theory and practice of short and long-term interventions in CAMHS.
