Job Title: CAMHS Practitioner

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CAMHS Practitioner to join our team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. As a CAMHS Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic interventions to adults with mild to moderate anxiety and depressive symptoms.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and empowering team, providing a range of evidence-based interventions to support individuals in achieving their mental health goals. As a CAMHS Practitioner, you will work closely with other experienced practitioners to deliver a stepped care model in line with the national IAPT programme and NICE guidelines for psychological interventions.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions to adults with mild to moderate anxiety and depressive symptoms.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and risk assessments to inform treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working closely with other practitioners and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular supervision and case management to ensure high-quality care and support.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams and services to ensure seamless care pathways and effective communication.
Requirements
  • UKCP psychotherapists/psychotherapeutic counsellors with full clinical membership or BACP Accredited Counsellors.
  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent standard of literacy and numeracy.
  • Qualification in an IAPT counselling modality (PCE-CfD/IPT/DIT).
  • Experience of working with adults presenting with common mental health problems.
  • At least 6 months' work experience in a healthcare service.
