Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an HR Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR team, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Onboarding and offboarding of employees, including preparation of offer letters, employment contracts, and completion of pre-employment screening requirements.
  • Administration of benefit schemes, including maintenance of accurate data in HR systems.
  • Delivery of employee inductions and training programs.
  • Amendments to employee terms and conditions.
  • Leaver administration, including preparation of exit interviews and completion of necessary paperwork.
  • Responsible for administrating employee changes, ensuring HR systems and personnel files are up to date.
  • Monitoring visa expiration dates and advising the team accordingly.
  • Drafting letters and reports as required to support the HR team.
  • Assistance with annual HR activities, including salary reviews, bonus schemes, and renewal exercises.
  • Supporting the roll-out of group HR policies and initiatives.
  • Ensuring up-to-date job descriptions are in place for all roles.
  • Working with the HR team to ensure a consistent approach and audit readiness.
  • Assistance with payroll processing, ensuring all new start information, leavers, and contractual changes are captured.
  • Providing HR administrative support in confidential meetings, including investigations, disciplinaries, absence, probation, and performance discussions.
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced business environment.
  • HR systems experience desirable.
  • Higher education or equivalent, including English.
  • Interest in pursuing a formal HR qualification in the future.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to employment law and working practices.
  • Able to adapt and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Resilient and able to bounce back quickly.
  • Excellent attention to detail applied to all tasks.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a busy workload.
  • Strong IT and MS Office skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
