About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Agile Project Manager to join our Content Platforms team at News UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality content to our audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the software development life cycle, ensuring timely delivery of projects and products.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and technical teams.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to overcome obstacles.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coach and mentor team members to improve their skills and knowledge in Agile project management.
  • Participate in the development of project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Agile project management, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience with project management tools and software, such as Jira, Asana, or Trello.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
